When tightening the adapter nuts against the adapter, the nuts automatically center the adapter to the hub perfectly without the necessary aid of hubcentric ring.

Then, the wheel nuts will center the wheel to the adapter after tightening themselves if your wheel is lugcentric wheel, again, perfectly without te necessary aid of the hubcentric.
If not, the nuts will do. I would tighten them while the wheel is suspended from the ground as you should with lugcentric wheel.
If not not , one could always buy some hub rings to ensure that one gets the wheel properly centered before tightening it down.

I believe you know all these problem/solution, but just info for those with doubts/questions :-)
